The report summarizes the latest research on the state of our planet and highlights how our actions in the next decade will determine our path forward.

The green swan Central banking and financial stability in the age of climate change
Aus dem Vorwort:
The increase in the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events could trigger non-linear and irreversible financial losses. In turn, the immediate and system-wide transition required to fight climate change could have far- reaching effects potentially affecting every single agent in the economy and every single asset price. Climate-related risks could therefore threaten central banks' mandates of price and financial stability, but also our socio-economic systems at large.
A joint venture from the Global Soil Biodiversity Initiative and the European Commission Joint Research Centre, the Global Soil Biodiversity Atlas is the first synthesis of global soil biodiversity research and its importance to our living world.
On September 10, 2019, the Global Commission on Adaptation released its flagship report, Adapt Now: A Global Call for Leadership on Climate Resilience.
The report puts forward a bold vision for how to transform key systems to be more resilient and productive. It is designed to inspire action among decision-makers, including heads of state and government officials, mayors, business executives, investors and community leaders.
Report authors found that adaptation can produce significant economic returns, as well as numerous social and environmental benefits. Specifically, the analysis found that investing $1.8 trillion globally in five areas from 2020 to 2030 could generate $7.1 trillion in total net benefits. The five areas include: early warning systems, climate-resilient infrastructure, improved dryland agriculture, mangrove protection and resilient water resources. These areas represent only a portion of the total investments needed and total benefits available.
Hi Jonas,
die lila/blauen Blümchen sind Leberblümchen.
